Job Posting: Media Development Specialist

The Spaulding School of Production is looking for outgoing, energetic team players to help local businesses succeed by connecting their needs to our ever-expanding production team.

Through the commission based role of Media Development Specialist, you will call your own hours and grow your own income by creating contracts for viral video production, CD audio production and more. Full training will be provided for this exciting opportunity.

Reports To: Executive Director, Spaulding School of Production; Assistant Director, Spaulding School of Production

Status: Flex/Part-Time, dependent on your goals and objectives.

Pay Rate: Commission based with potentially no ceiling for success.

Job Description:

• Act as a first point of contact between the School of Production team and customers/clients
• Establish new relationships with different businesses and individuals in the community and convert those relationships to new contracts for the production school
• Become familiar with the different types of video and audio production contracts and services associated with the School while learning the education methods behind the School of Production
• Communicate with the Executive Director & Assistant Director about all on-going contracts
• Ensure a smooth, steady process between relationships, from the first point of contact right through to production delivery

Requirements:

• Must be able to self-lead and adapt to business and market demands
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage different responsibilities required with complete autonomy
• Outgoing, friendly yet determined personality is a strong asset for this role
• Prior sales and/or marketing experience is preferred but training will be provided available.
